All eligible voters have the option to apply for mail in ballot.
Applications for mail-in ballots for individuals applying electronically or via mail, will be received, provided that application is received by the Returning Officer or other designated Election official on or before 4:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Applications to vote using a mail-in ballot may be made in person and received by the returning officer or other designated election official on or before 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Ballots will be mailed out with instructions in mid-late October and must be received at the Election Office before 4:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
Applying from home:
Voters can apply for a mail-in ballot from the comfort of their home by sending their application by email, mail or electronic means, you may also apply in-person by coming into City Hall.
- Download, fill out and sign the application form
- Have your government-issued photo ID with your signature verified and registration form witnessed by election’s Returning Officer or person authorized to administer oaths.
- Send your signed registration form and a copy of your photo ID with a signature to Elections Estevan.
- Because the City of Estevan doesn’t maintain a voters list, all eligible voters are required to fill out Voter’s Registration Form & Poll Book Declaration of Person Requesting Mail-In Ballot

Voters may drop off their application with a copy of government-issued photo ID anytime during office hours Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. City Hall.
Electronic Registration
City of Estevan will review all applications. If the application does not meet the identification requirements or is insufficient or illegible, applicants will be asked to submit their application in-person.
Important Information:
