Welcome to the Neighbourhood Block Party Program!

The City of Estevan is excited to introduce the Neighbourhood Block Party Program. This initiative encourages residents living on the same street or within an apartment building to come together, build relationships, and connect over food, fun, and play. Aligning with our strategic plan to enhance community bonds and improve the quality of life in our city, this program is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen neighbourhood ties.

Starting June 1, 2024, Neighbourhood Block Party Kits will be available to the community free of charge. While we encourage groups to host their gatherings in yards and streets, those choosing a public park will need a $25 permit, with a reminder that no alcohol use is permitted in these areas.

Currently, we have one kit ready for community use. It can be picked up from the information desk the business day before your event and must be returned by 12:00 p.m. (noon) the next business day after the party. The kit, valued at approximately $800, was made possible with support from Sask-Lotteries Community Grant Funding.
