Mayor Anthony Sernick

Anthony Sernick grew up in Bienfait and relocated to Estevan in 1988. He graduated from Estevan Comprehensive School in 1993 and began his career in the oil and gas industry. After gaining extensive experience around the patch, Tony secured a managerial position with Kudu Industries in 1999, where he contributed to the growth of a successful business over the next 15 years. Following his tenure at Kudu, Tony contracted with Federated Cooperatives Limited (FCL) for three years before assuming a business development role with MANTL Canada in 2018.

Tony served as a dedicated Estevan City Councillor for four years previous to being elected as Mayor. His leadership in both the business and public sectors has helped shape the community’s growth and development.

Outside of his professional and civic duties, Tony is passionate about family, sports, and volunteering. He enjoys spending time with his wife Tami, daughters Tiara and Tanissy, granddaughters Azallia and Emrys, and son-in-law Nick.
