Soaking up the Rays

Fridays are one of my favourite days of the week. I usually pack my lunch, but on Fridays, I treat myself to lunch. Today, I had one of my faves.

The above deliciousness is from Estevan Chinese and Pizza  It is called the Spring Roll Dinner and will only set you back $11.50. Its made of rice noodles, cut up spring rolls,  lettuce, cucumber, carrots and a sweet fish sauce. It’s super fresh and light!

I love working downtown where I only have to walk a couple blocks to grab my take out and a number of beautiful places to stop and eat are nearby. I love eating my lunch and relaxing in a beautiful place while enjoying a couple chapters of the latest book I am reading and soaking up the rays.

One of my favorite hideouts is the Garden on 4th. If it’s a windy day the surrounding buildings protect my book pages from flipping. There is always a place to find that is shaded or one that is sunny. Another place I enjoy my lunch at is the Soldier Tree Monument right across the street from City Hall.

Do you have any favourite hideouts to have lunch?

Get out there and #ExperienceEstevan
