Becky chases her disc, Curtis laughs at her shots and the kids rock it.
We all ventured out to Torgenson Park on Spruce Drive in the North East area of the City. All I/We needed to pack was bug spray, stroller, water bottles and bug spray. The Discs or Frisbees are in a storage box right at the park free to use!
There are a few different kinds of discs, putters meant for your short game, long shot and medium shot discs. There are even some designed for windy conditions, maximum distance, some to turn left or right.
I’m not that technical, but as I start the game I believe I have the highly advanced skills to make a wager with all my kids. If mom wins, kid on dishes for supper.
Game on.
The course had 9 holes. If you can imagine a repeat of Hole 1 carried on 8 more times it is exactly how that went. Halfway through the course I tried a number of different throwing and grip methods, however, none Worked. Curtis ran every which way after my disc. Once I hit him in the shin, he was standing about 10 feet to the right of me and the completely opposite direction I was aiming for. The girls’ game improved. I did dishes that night. #oldestboywins
We will be back for a rematch. I don’t give up that easy. Best out of 10?
Becky
Picnic

Torgenson Park is the perfect place to have a picnic too. We had lunch in the gazebo to get out of the sun!
Estevan Lions Club

The Estevan Lions Club donated the disc golf course to the City of Estevan in 2016. Organizations like them, help everyone have great experiences in Estevan, THANK YOU!
