Valentine’s Getaway in Estevan

This Valentine’s Day, surprise your partner with a getaway to one of the fantastic places in Saskatchewan! Here are 10 perfect ideas for your Southeast Saskatchewan winter romantic getaway!

Every Day is a Beach Day

We headed to the beach. We packed light; a couple of shovels, a bucket, a plastic bat and ball, two towels and a life jacket.

My Summer…. Experiencing Estevan

I had an awesome summer working at the Visitor Centre here at the Estevan Leisure Centre. Lorin and I had the opportunity to meet some very kind people traveling from all over Canada and as well as the United States. I thought I would write to you one last time and give you a short over view of all the things I was lucky enough to experience this summer.

Family Fun Day at Boundary Dam

Woodlawn Regional Park hosted Family Fun Day at Boundary Dam on July 29th! I was able to attend along with my mom and younger sister, Shayna.

Becky and Family visit the beach

Do you and your family and friends have a place that is your special spot? A place that has the happiest memories, the best experiences, a place where everyone is relaxed and always smiling? Ours is Boundary Dam.

Ramada by Wyndham in Estevan

Enjoy the natural beauty and friendly atmosphere of the “Sunshine Capital of Canada” with a comfortable stay at Ramada by Wyndham Estevan, nine kilometers from Estevan Regional Airport (YEN) and 203 kilometers from Regina International Airport (YQR). Ideal for mining and oil & gas industry workers, our pet-friendly hotel off SK-18 and SK-39 is next to a Tim Hortons coffee shop and a short drive to the U.S.-Canada border. Catch an Estevan Bruins hockey game at Affinity Place, wander the Souris Valley Museum, or tee off at TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club.

Becky’s cat, Kitty, loves Woodlawn Regional Park

Kitty normally takes off for a few days once spring hits, so we weren’t really worried at first. Four days passed and we hadn’t seen her and then the worry started. We asked around the neighbourhood if anyone had seen her, asked them to check their outbuildings, etc. The kids and I searched the fields behind our house. We called the Estevan Humane Society; and we posted her picture on social media, all with no luck.
