Easter break brings a holiday with a few extra days off work, allowing you time to explore our area a little more in-depth. Easter symbolizes the beginning of spring, an idyllic time to get out into the countryside or see the city bustling. We’ve collected some of our favourite experiences to spend the Easter holidays with some ideas on delving a little deeper, making the most of those few extra days to explore.
1.Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Who wants to go on a scavenger hunt? The Living Hope Community Church wants the whole family to participate! Meet at the church parking lot for your instructions to go on the Easter Egg-Stravaganzascavenger hunt, and bring back your findings for a prize. All completed entries will be entered to win a Nintendo Switch, Family Punch Cards to Affinity Place, and other prizes!
Mark your calendars for April 3rd, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm!
2. The Great Easter Egg Decorating Eggstravaganza
Register by calling Souris Valley Museum (306)- 634- 5543! Registration closes on March 26, 2021.
3. Go for Easter Brunch
Sunday brunch day is my go-to favourite! Eggs benedict with hashbrowns and a nice hot coffee to wash it down…great, now I’m getting hungry just talking about it! Head to your favourite breakfast spot or try a new location on Sunday or any day of the week! This is also a good way to get out and try “eggs benny” in our city as they will be the feature of the month in April. National Eggs Benedict Day is April 16th,2021, but we wanted to celebrate the whole month with this delicious dish!
4. In-Room Easter Egg Hunt at the Microtel Inn & Suites
Available for a limited time only for stays between April 1-5, 2021.
5. Find the Easter Bunny on The Backroads of Estevan Audio Tour
Let’s take a backroad drive of Estevan and area with the family! You never know what you’ll spot; keep your eyes out. Maybe you’ll see the easter bunny!
I hope you have an eggcellent Easter!
