Leisure Services Division Wins Canadian Red Cross Awards

The City of Estevan Leisure Services Division is proud to be recognized at the Saskatchewan /Manitoba Aquatic Conference in Regina this past spring. The department brought home two awards presented by the Canadian Red Cross.

Erin Wilson, program manager and Cassidy Reich, instructor were presented with the award for the Most Lessons taught in a partnering community with a population under 20,000.00. Karlee Ross, former instructor trainer, was awarded the Most Assistant Lifeguards trained in one year (2018). Most of the 28 candidates were trained at the RM of Estevan Aquatic Centre.

The number of classes taught has continued to grow in our community, and we are proud to offer lessons six days a week during numerous seasons. We are continually adding lessons throughout the year. If you have a swimmer that needs lessons, please call the information desk at the Estevan Leisure Centre as we may be able to facilitate lessons that are not listed in our activity guide or on our website.
