Check Out a Challenged Book
February 24th – March 2nd
Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Challenged books are the ones that have had their public access questioned for many different reasons. Enter to win a $50 gift card from Indigo by checking out a challenged book. (List provided on website and posted at library.) You can enter two ways. Take a selfie with what the book you check out and email it to epladultprogrammer@southeastlibrary.ca or enter to win by ballot when you check your book out. Draw to be made March 2nd.
