An increase in the number of COVID cases closes Estevan Leisure Centre

Over the past week, the Estevan Leisure Centre has seen a sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases linked to variants of concern (VOC). To help address this risk, the City of Estevan is taking the proactive step of closing the Estevan Leisure Centre, effective May 5th, at 4:30 pm as a precaution.

COVID-19 Update November 13: Mask Mandate in all indoor public spaces

To align with the Sask Health requirements and to help reduce the risk of potential COVID-19 transmission in the City of Estevan, as of Monday, November 16, there will be changes implemented to facilities in the City of Estevan. These changes will be in effect as outlined by the Government of Saskatchewan.

Advance Polls Location Change

Due to COVID-19 concerns, advanced polls that were scheduled at Southeast Business Start up office on 403- 9th Avenue will be moved to Church of God at 1920 Wellock Road.

COVID-19 case at the Estevan Leisure Centre

On October 6th, we received notice from the Saskatchewan Health Authority that individuals who tested COVID-19 positive were at the Estevan Leisure Centre on September 29th and October 1st.

Fall City of Estevan Programs set to resume

As the season changes, so does programming at the Estevan Leisure Centre. The City of Estevan is pleased to announce the start of Skate Programs at Affinity Place and the restart of the Free Swim Progam at the RM of Estevan Aquatic Centre.

Estevan Leisure Centre: Ready for Fun

We are pleased to announce the opening of some indoor recreation amenities with modifications to ensure the safety of visitors and staff in compliance with Saskatchewan Health guidance and Public Health orders. The Estevan Leisure Centre will open on July 13.

Changes coming for Leisure Centre Weight Room Users

Starting June 29th, the Weight Room in the Estevan Leisure Centre will move from a pre-registration process to a drop in. These changes will be made to accommodate a more flexible training schedule for our users.
