The intersection at King Street and Kohaly Avenue is receiving a facelift thanks to the generosity of a local citizen.
This project was on the list of upgrades for the city however, we didn't anticipate construction in 2017.
The generosity of an anonymous donor of these landscaping bricks made it possible to proceed this year and we are very thankful to the donor.
We are moving brick from the brick's original location to this project site in stages which reduces trucking and storage costs, however it extends the projects timelines and we appreciate the publics patients during the construction phase.
When complete, we look forward to an abundance of colourful annuals and maybe some low lying perennials. This will be our first self-watering planter, designed for low maintenance and reduced operational cost.
Thanks again to the anonymous donor.
