Office of the City Manager

The City Manager, also known as the Chief Administrative Officer is the highest ranking public service official reporting directly to City Council and provides leadership to the administrative organization by working closely with the Mayor and Council to establish practical strategic directions, policies, programs and services.

On behalf of the administration of the city of Estevan I would like to thank you for showing interest in our community. I was born and raised in Estevan, and I cannot think of a better place that I would rather call home. We have top class recreational facilities such our new Affinity Place Arena, our Aquatics and Leisure Center, as well as access to the very attractive Woodlawn Regional Park, which includes outstanding camping as well as an award winning golf facility with the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club.

Our energy sector is a key component to the Saskatchewan economy. Our economic diversity ranges from oil and gas, to power generation, to coal mining, as well as agriculture. Our goal as a city is to encourage growth in these areas and to create a welcoming and safe environment where these businesses can flourish. Our close location to the United States border creates a first point of contact for business coming from the south as well as an easy route to vacation destinations by crossing the border early during any travel south.

The City’s vision is to create a dynamic, appealing regional center that welcomes growth, diversity and opportunity. We are proud of our commitment to a safe, clean, and quality environment for families.
