Estevan City Council met this past Monday, September 28th and here are a few of that evening’s outcomes:
Good Neighbour Award Program
Council approved the establishment of a Good Neighbour Award Program to recognize residents who make positive contributions to their neighbourhood and community.
Nominations will be accepted through the City’s nomination form until October 30, 2026. Please go to estevan.ca/goodneighbouraward
2026 Pathway Resurfacing Report
Council unanimously approved the 2026 Pathway Resurfacing Report as presented. The report will be available for the public to view on the City of Estevan website.
Congratulations to Estevan’s U13 & U15 Baseball Champions
Council recognized and congratulated the Estevan 13U AA Brewers and 15U AA Brewers on their outstanding 2026 seasons. The 13U AA Brewers captured the Tier 5 Provincial Championship, while the 15U AA Brewers captured the Tier 3 Provincial Championship.
2027 Third-Party Funding Applications
Non-profit and cultural organizations seeking City funding for 2027 are encouraged to contact the City of Estevan Finance Department regarding their funding applications. Applications should be submitted in advance of Council’s Third-Party Budget Deliberations on November 24, 2026.
