The City of Estevan is continuing to respond to a water main break on Smith Street, where Water Service crews have been working to isolate and address the issue. As of 3:00 p.m., water pressure has been restored to the south side of the city. Throughout the incident, crews were able to maintain positive water pressure, and as a result no residential water restrictions or boil water advisories are required at this time.
Water Service crews will be working around the clock until the repairs and full restoration is completed. Due to the high volume of workers and equipment required for this repair, residents are asked to avoid Smith Street unless absolutely necessary.
