The Water & Wastewater Services division of the City of Estevan advises that the intersection of 4th Avenue and Perkins Street is closed today due to a water main break. There will be no through traffic, including on the north sidewalk, until the necessary construction work is completed. The closure is expected to last approximately 72 hours, and the public is requested to avoid this area during this time for safety reasons.
As cold weather continues, the City of Estevan reminds residents to take precautions against winter hazards. Drivers are reminded to exercise caution on icy roads by reducing speed, maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles, and avoiding sudden stops or turns. Your safety is our priority.
