FOURTH STREET CLOSING FOR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT AND ROADWAY RESURFACING PROJECT

Starting on Tuesday, May 25th, Fourth Street between Souris Avenue South to Eight Avenue will be closed until construction work has been completed. This closure is required for a water main replacement. Once complete, a resurfacing project of the entire section of Souris Avenue South to Kensington Avenue will commence. The roadway resurfacing project will be completed in cooperation with the Ministry of Highways Urban Connector Program.

East and westbound traffic on Fourth Street will be detoured to Third or Fifth Street. Heavy trucks will be directed to use Sixth Street.

Pedestrians will have access to both North and South sidewalks. Cyclists are asked not to enter work zones and use detour routes as indicated by traffic patterns.

The City of Estevan thanks community members for their patience as we do these important upgrades to improve these critical infrastructure improvements within the city.
