City of Estevan to start Spring Dust Control Program

The City of Estevan Spring Dust Control Program is underway.

Norm Mack, Roads and Dranainge manager shared, “Dust control treatment is applied in the spring and fall of each year to pre-selected gravel roads within the City limits. It is intended to control the dust on high-traffic, high-speed gravel roads.”

“Dust can create visibility issues on the gravel road and adjacent roads. The current treatment, causes the gravel and fine particles to stick together and the surface to harden into a semi-permanent state.”
