The City of Estevan would like to invite residents and visitors to a Funday Sunday! Slip ‘N Slide Party on August 27th from 3pm – 6pm at the Royal Heights Veterans Memorial Park on Nicholson Road. There will be a 75ft Slip ‘N Slide, the splash pad will open and a water fight.
Parks Manager, Rod March states, “This event is a celebration of the end of the summer. It lets Citizens who haven’t experienced the new Splash Pad at the Park, come out and experience it in full. We are really looking forward to seeing families out enjoying the facility.”
There will be food vendors in attendance.
“I would suggest bringing a blanket that you can throw down on the grass and spend some time soaking in the sun and getting soaked on all of the equipment.” said, Erin Wilson, Leisure Services Program Manager. Wilson also stated to make sure to bring water guns as there will be a water fight happening.
This event was made possible, in part to the Saskatchewan Communities Initiative Fund. “We are grateful for the substantial financial contribution toward this valuable asset for our community. It provides for many years of enjoyment for our families” March stated.
